#BlogTour SPRING ON RENDEZVOUS LANE by ANGELA BRITNELL #BookReview @rararesources @ChocLituk @AngelaBritnell

Delighted to be joining you today as part of the Blog Tour for the wonderful SPRING ON RENDEZVOUS LANE by ANGELA BRITNELL.  My thanks to the author, publisher and Rachel of Rachel's Random Resources for letting me be part of it all and sharing my thoughts!

Can even the most seasoned traveller find a home on Rendezvous Lane?
‘Community spirit’ is not a phrase in travel junkie Taran Rossi’s vocabulary. As a former ‘third culture kid’ and now spicy street food connoisseur and social media influencer, he’s never really stayed in one place long enough to feel part of a community. And that’s just the way he likes it.

But a springtime stint house sitting for his grandmother on Rendezvous Lane in East Nashville could lead to a long overdue wake-up call. With the help of single mum Sandy Warner and her young son Chip, can Taran come to understand that sometimes it’s not about the place – it’s about the people?

Angela grew up in Cornwall, England and returns frequently from her new home in Nashville, Tennessee to visit family and friends, drink tea and eat far too many Cornish pasties!

A lifelong love of reading turned into a passion for writing contemporary romance and her novels are usually set in the many places she's visited or lived on her extensive travels. Thanks to over three decades of marriage to her wonderful American husband she's a huge fan of transatlantic romance and always makes sure her characters get their own happy-ever-after.

She is a member of the Romantic Novelists' Association. Her first novel ‘Truth and Consequence’ was published in 2006 and she’s now had over 30 novels published internationally and several short stories in women’s magazines.

If you'd like to find out more of what Angela gets up to (Advance warning: this may include references to wine, dark chocolate, Poldark and the hunky Aidan Turner) check out  or follow her on , and on Instagram as Angela Golley Britnell.

We are back in Texas for another fabulous story, and the object of my desire this time is Taran!! He's a young travel junkie, going round the world blogging about his journeys as he goes, so life is always on the go for him!

But he is having to pause his travelling for a while, as he housesits for his grandmother in Texas and he finds himself at the centre of the community! His grandmother is one of those people that the rest of the town turn to, and she's always got projects on the go! Something very alien to him! But with the help of a neighbour, Sandy, and her young son he soon finds himself mixing in with the local community and discovering that putting down some roots is agreeing with him!

The more time he spends with Sandy and Chip are helping him feel more grounded and I really enjoyed how these characters relate to one another.  They feel comfortable around each other, so can open up more about their pasts  and it's touching to see their relationship grow.  And the support of the local community coming together to fight new plans allow him to see a positive side of being part of something bigger.

This was a wonderful  story that shows all the positives of strength and support in numbers and watching Taran discover a different way of life and the revelations that brings him was really touching!
